Modules

Penciled is made up of a multiple modules which all work together to keep schedules full. These modules are:

Initial exams

Schedules initial exams with patients.

Plan of care

Checks plans of care for Penciled patients and schedules visits.

Reminders

Reminds and confirms upcoming appointments with patients and handles cancellations.

Waitlist

Fills last-minute cancellations by messaging waitlist patients.

Other functionalities

Penciled's AI can also perform other functionalities that improve overall patient expeirence

View upcoming appointments

The AI has the ability to extract all upcoming appointments for patients in WebPT, so upon request, that information can be immediately retrieved for the patient.

Working hours

The AI can tell patients about the working hours of a clinic if asked and if the front office has inputted this in (agent configuration)[./settings/configure].

Address of the clinic

The AI can reply to patients with the correct address of the clinic upon request if the address was saved by the front office in (agent configuration)[./settings/configure].

Action items

If patients make requests that the AI cannot handle, the AI will reply to redirect the patient to the front office and create an (action item)[./product/action-items] for the clinic.

Inbound redirect

If an inbound call is received to the SMS phone number that Penciled uses, the system will redirect the call to the clinic phone number specified in (agent configuration)[./settings/configure].
